The French artist presents a new collection of bags, accessories and ready-to-wear in graphic blue and white.

Constantin Riant is an illustrator, <a href="https://www.hommessingapore.com/watches/rado-anatom-2025-high-tech-ceramic-bracelet" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ceramist</a> and flaneur, drawing his inspiration from his constant wanderings around the city of <a href="https://www.hommessingapore.com/style/paris-mens-fashion-week-spring-summer-2026-pfw-ss26-runway-louis-vuitton-dior-jacquemus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Paris</a>. He channels his eclectic disciplines into a vivid Fall 25 collaboration with Longchamp, dedicated to the culture of <a href="https://www.hommessingapore.com/living/kunimasa-aoki-wins-2025-loewe-foundation-craft-prize-japanese-artist-art-exhibition-winner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">craft</a>. From a new Le Pliage tote to cotton work jackets, overalls and T-shirts, the heritage and savoir-faire of the French leathermaker is brought to life in a contemporary manner.

Hi Constantin! We love the graphic nature of your works. Tell us how you developed your artistic style? Cobalt blue and white have always been central to my work with ceramics. When I first started, I was drawn to a familiar colour palette that reflected the rich heritage of the craft &mdash; from Chinese and Japanese vases to Portuguese azulejos and traditional French tableware. I took inspiration from time-honoured glazes like Delft blue and bleu de S&egrave;vres, alongside the luminous white of porcelain and faience. Over time, these hues have become a defining element of my artistic voice.
The design of the &lsquo;Les Artisans de Paris&rsquo; silk scarf is inspired by neighbourhood shopfronts. Why do these fa&ccedil;ades hold a special place in your heart? I often find the most inspiration in the quiet, tucked-away corners of the city, though, like many Parisians, I also have a deep affection for the historic heart of Paris. What sets the city apart is the distinct character, style, and spirit found in each neighbourhood. This variety is what gives Paris its unique allure and depth. Strolling along the banks of the Seine, in any weather, remains one of my favourite pastimes.

You also created a new logo for Longchamp using its House codes. Exploring Longchamp&rsquo;s archives, savoir-faire, and craftsmanship was a true pleasure. I sought out visual elements that captured the essence of the brand&rsquo;s rich heritage. From that foundation, I developed a design that honours the Maison&rsquo;s legacy, reimagined through the lens of my own visual language.
As an illustrator and ceramist, where do you see yourself of the spectrum between artist and artisan? I see myself as an artist who masters and uses a craft medium to create art. I love working with my hands and mastering a technique that requires specific expertise.

You&rsquo;re also a regular tourist in your own city. Share with us one recent discovery that you&rsquo;re obsessed with. I really like the little Le Tempographe Sardon shop in the 20th arrondissement of Paris which sells very nice ink stamps. I also really like the lovely and unknown Bourdelle museum at Montparnasse in the 15th arrondissement, and a good coffee at La Caf&eacute;otheque at Saint-Paul in the Marais.
When is the best time to walk the city, and what do you usually bring with you? I love walking at the end of the day after a day of work to clear my head and unwind. I always take a notebook and a camera with me!

Finally, which piece from the Longchamp X Constantin Riant capsule is going straight into your personal wardrobe? I would say all of them! But I really like the scarf and the blue work jacket.
